Tracing the First Floridians

The Friends of Lake Louisa State Park welcome Nigel Rudolph of the Florida Public Archaeology Network on Friday, August 19th at 7:00pm when he will be providing a free presentation, 'Tracing the First Floridians, the Paleoindians'. Exciting research by archaeologists across Florida is shedding light on some of our state's earliest residents: the Paleoindians. This talk will explore what we know about Florida's first residents, as well as how archaeology can inform us about this little understood part of our past. Please RSVP to 352-394-3969 if you are planning to attend as space is limited. Regular park admission fee does apply. We hope to see you there!
