Obstacle Trail Challenge
The OTC, a popular CSO fund-raising event held twice per year, consists of 10 obstacles along roughly 6 miles of trails with spectacular scenery. Horses and riders are judged on how well they negotiate each obstacle with one obstacle timed as a tie-breaker. Awards are presented at the end of the event in 4 categories: Senior, Adult, Junior and Youth.
Contact us to find out about opportunities for you to support Lake Louisa State Park and community equestrian recreation by becoming a sponsor for the Lake Louisa State Park Obstacle Trail Challenge (OTC).
In addition to the fun of the Obstacle Trail Challenge we will be holding a Lead Line Challenge. This will consist of several on the ground horsemanship challenges at the end of a 12 or 22 ft lead line. (We’ll provide the leads.) This will be run throughout the event, so any one who chooses to participate can have a chance.
We will not be taking lunch orders in advance at this event. There will be an outside vendor on site providing food.
The next Obstacle Trail Challenge will be held on March 20th, 2010.
Instructions for registering are included in the form.
Entries are limited to the first 125 riders (determined by postmark)
